Reports to: Senior Track Access Co-ordinator Senior Responsible Manager

Salary: Depending on experience

You will be responsible for providing administration activities within our CPR Rail team. The Rail Assistant Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of record within IT systems for our Track Access Co-ordinator Senior Responsible manager and co-ordinate activities by liaising with our Contracts Manager (CRE) and Site Supervisors.

Responsibilities include

  • Receive incoming telephone calls and correspondence, take necessary action or direct to appropriate Senior Personnel
  • Contact Rail clients as required for access, notifications and responses required for operational activities
  • Prepare, monitor and update works planning tools
  • Liaise with CPR Plant and other teams as required to ensure timely resource planning
  • Weekly activity of applying for U-secure it
  • Prepare Work Package plans and site packs for operatives
  • Prepare noise letters and apply via LBOX for surrounding neighbours of planned future works
  • Ensure Work Package plans / SWP are handed back at the end of job
  • Assist with Audit preparation
  • Administration duties as required

  • Reporting to Senior Track Access Co-ordinator Senior Responsible Manager liaising with Contracts Manager (CRE) / Site Supervisors / Controller of Site Safety
  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Essential skills include good customer service, communication, planning and organising with ability to meet deadlines and experience of an administration role within a commercial environment.
  • Must be highly skilled in Microsoft packages and willing to learn new IT systems.

    Responsibilities include

  • Digging trenches for foundations
  • Setting up a site, putting up barriers, safety signs, huts, etc
  • Providing excavation support to other construction professionals
  • Interpreting the use of drawings and specifications
  • Laying pavements and kerbs

  • Removing drainage and pipework systems

    Our growing company is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for managing value for business operations, through the preparation and oversight of quotes prepared for our civils, rail and public sector customers and new business.

  • Implement a sound commercial strategy and advise on contracts

    JOB PURPOSE: You will responsible for purchasing of materials, ensuring optimum stock levels to meet the contractual project plans and customer needs. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have responsibility for CPR’s portfolio of suppliers and purchase of materials at the best possible price. You will work with the rest of the business to establish forecast requirements and managing supplier relationships at the appropriate level.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
  • Ensure parts and products are correctly represented on the system pre & post purchase
  • Monitor and advice on any Procurement issues which present risk or opportunity to the business
  • Assess, monitor and record the supply chain performance to ensure quality, delivery and price targets are met
  • Research alternative suppliers and components to mitigate against long-lead times
