Following on from the success of last year's event, CPR have announced they will sponsor the Loch Lomond 10K and Fun Run, again in 2019.
The event is hosted by West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust (WDLT) and attracts thousands of people to the beautiful surroundings of Moss O'Balloch Park and Loch Lomond every year. It is a continuation of the popular event that was initiated by Polaroid over 30 years ago. It was renamed as the Vale of Leven 10K in 2018 and will now be known as the Loch Lomond 10K.
The event includes a 10K race suitable for all abilities plus a fun run suitable for little ones aged up to primary 7. Last year the event attracted over 800 participants in the 10K, 600 fun run runners (children's event), plus 2000 enthusiastic supporters cheering them across the finish line, on a beautiful sunny morning.
CPR will be entering a team into the 10K and a fun 'Beat the Boss' Challenge will offer a prize to whomever gets the fastest time ahead of CPR's MD, William Black. Danny Gonzales took the prize last year with an impressive 57 minute run and everyone in Team CPR are keen to be the one to Beat the Boss in 2019.
William Black, MD of CPR said "CPR is delighted to support this event again in 2019. Last year was a roaring success and it was clear that this is a great event for both the community and the visitors it attracts from all over the country."
