Civils and Ducting Project at Stirling Station Completed

Ducting works at Stirling Station on behalf of Morgan Sindall have now been completed on time. The project was part of the EGIP Programme for which CPR are preferred sub-contractors to Morgan Sindall.

The scope of works included ducting and chambers along the length of the Platforms. A new surface consisting of sub-bases, base course and wearing course was laid. The stations furniture and fittings were removed prior to commencement to protect them from any risks and reinstated at the end of the project. The company also installed new fencing and gates at the ends of platform including their foundations and signs.

CPR’s Rail and Civils teams were deployed for this contract and have the necessary training and safety certifications to work on a trackside environment. The ducting project was completed as expected, over 29 hour dedicated blockades and within only 2 hours of normal working times during the week.

The Civils Teams are now deployed to a Drainage contract at Millerhill Electric Train Depot, where the Company was responsible for the successful delivery of new roads and footpaths construction in 2017.
