Concrete Works Near Completion at Invercannie WTW

CPR Civils Division are nearing the end of a project to deliver concrete works to a Water Treatment Works at Invercannie in Aberdeenshire, on behalf of ESD and Scottish Water.  This phase of additional works began in January and is expected to come to a close later in October 2022.

The site has undergone a £52M development and is the first project CPR has delivered for the main contractor and delivery partner ESD. The works are additional packages following the completion of the original projects within the contract

This phase has a number of concrete projects such as,  

  • concrete thrust walls
  • four way value chamber soffit removal
  • concrete slabs
  • concrete roads

Once complete, the improvements to the Scottish Water owned plant will provide 63 million litres of drinking water per day to people living in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.
