CPR has been awarded a contract by Network Rail to carry out improvement works to three stations in Glasgow as part of the preparations for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. We are proud to be part of the supply chain to the Games and that the works will be part of the legacy of investment and improvements for Scotland to last for many years after.
The stations involved will be Mount Florida, Shettleston, and Glasgow Exhibition Centre. Works began on 2nd Nov 2013 and will continue until end Jan 2014. Mount Florida Station will have both platforms fully resurfaced and all drainage will be replaced and reinstated. Shettleston Station will have a fully resurfaced car park and road, where again all drainage will be replaced and reinstated. The final station at Glasgow Exhibition Centre will have both platforms fully resurfaced.
As an established business, we employ up to 50 people throughout the year. We support our local economy through our own supply chain and to be part of the national economic benefit brought to Scotland by the 2014 Games; this is something we are truly proud to have achieved.
