Excavation, Ducting & Surfacing at Larbert Station

CPR are currently undertaking a 6 week programme of excavation, ducting installation and surfacing works at Larbert Station near Falkirk as an Approved Supplier to Morgan Sindall. This project is part of EGIP programme.

This civils and surfacing contract on the platforms at Larbert Station started mid October and will run for 6 weeks until the end of November 2017.

This project required the construction of an access road from the car park to the platform for CPR's specialist plant and equipment. This is a temporary structure and the grass embankment will be re-instated at the end of the project.

The project will include the excavation of both platforms to allow Cubis Ducting to be installed. CPR's teams undertake all aspects of this work using specialist plant for use on the narrow concourse of a railway platform. The resurfacing teams will surface both platforms and re-instate the embankment.
