CPR continue to deliver specialist surfacing and civil works on rail infrastructure for the EGIP Programme which will implement the electrification of the Edinburgh Glasgow line.
Morgan Sindall have instructed CPR to carry out a full platform reconstruction to accomodate the longer rolling stock. This will include excavation and reprofiling of the platform surface, installation of type 1 preparation, installation of drainage, base coat and wearing coats and restricted access to the site on a night shift pattern.
CPR are working in partnership with ACE Builders on this contract and they will be renewing platform copes and associated brickwork and installation of tactiles.
