Run Loch Lomond 10k & 5k took place on Saturday 17th June 2023. With over 1100 entries and 140 local volunteers, it was a busy day in the sunshine. By signing up as gold sponsor, CPR helped to keep the cost of entries down allowing the event to be inclusive for the local community, including local schools.
The CPR team were in attendance to cheer on the runners who were all fantastic as it was a very warm day.
8 pupils from Vale of Leven Academy ran in the 5k, many of them returning after a great experience of the race last year. All the pupils achieved fantastic times with a special mention to Ross MacKinnon who finished third overall for the second year in a row. An impressive achievement not once but twice!
The category winners were presented with their prizes by Run Loch Lomond Ambassador, Lachie Stewart who is a local legend and gold winning Olympian.
William Black, Managing Director of CPR said, “We are delighted to be involved with such a positive and celebratory local event again. With our Head Office just a few miles from this event and over 80% of our staff living in West Dunbartonshire it is important we support our local community.”
