CPR Resurfacing carried out resurfacing work to footpaths at the station which is located over the Erskine Bridge towards Dumbarton.
The area had a cat scan first to ensure any hidden electric lines or pipes would not be touched. Once given the all clear, the road saw was used to cut into the area to start the excavation. All the materials were cleared and what was left was levelled and compacted.
A new surface was laid using base course materials, wearing course and a layer of tarmac. The existing tarmac surrounding the new work was adjusted and cut to ensure that it fit in with the new tarmac. A final inspection was carried out by the foreman before signing off the project.
