Road and Walkway Construction Works at Millerhill Depot

In March 2017, CPR commenced works to construct road and pathways at the large scale construction project at Millerhill Rail Depot in Edinburgh on behalf of Morgan Sindall. This contract is part of the EGIP Programme which will implement the electrification of the Edinburgh Glasgow line.

This project will include the construction of new roads and walking routes within the rail depot at Millerhill in Edinburgh. As the sub-contractor for the works, CPR will deliver installation of the kerbing, placing and compacting the granular material, surfacing and finally line marking the area. As part of the works a concrete batching plant has been established to provide the materials for the constuction. CPR have a range of specialist large, small, and concrete plant to deliver all aspects of the concrete and construction works, examples of which are; Concrete batching plant, 3 and 13T excavators, Bomag 120 roller, Wacker plate, Bitelli paver, and a Line Marking Vehicle.
