Run Loch Lomond 10k and 5k took place on Saturday 18th June 2022 and was a sell out event with over 1000 entries in the 10K and around 100 local volunteers who support the event from local groups or individuals. As Gold sponsor, CPR helped to keep the cost of entries down and ensure it is inclusive for the local community, including local schools.
The weather was (mostly) on our side and Team CPR were in attendance to cheer on the runners and participate in this fantastic local event in West Dunbartonshire.
William Black, Managing Director presented one lucky entrant with a fabulous prize, drawn at random from all entries, of an overnight stay for two at the luxury Cameron House on Loch Lomond.
A team of 11 pupils from Vale of Leven Academy ran in the 5k. They all achieved fantastic times and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A special mention goes to Ross MacKinnon who finished third in an incredible time of 18:35! What an amazing achievement to come in third overall for the 5k.
William Black then presented the category winners with their medals along with local legend Lachie Stewart, Vale of Leven's very own gold medal winning Olympian.
