On Thursday 20th of June, the CPR team had the pleasure of attending the prestigious Scottish Transport Awards. The event, held at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow, was an unforgettable evening filled with excitement, anticipation, and a celebration of excellence within the industry. CPR were nominated for the Excellence in Transport Accessibility for our access improvement works at Cardonald Railway Station. Although we did not win the award, it was an honour to be nominated.
The works at Cardonald Station are part of Network Rail’s ‘Access for All’ programme which focuses on ensuring the stations are accessible for everyone. Complete Paving Requirements worked alongside Network Rail and ScotRail to deliver a safe walking route to and from Cardonald Station for the visually impaired. More details on the access improvements to Cardonald Station can be found here.
The Scottish Transport Awards bring together the transport community to honour and celebrate achievements within the industry across Scotland. Our nomination for Excellence in Transport Accessibility was our first ever nomination for the Scottish Transport Awards. Our nomination is a testament to our team's hard work and dedication.
