Community Spirit Shines as CPR Clear Snow from Local Roads

Unexpected heavy snows brought out CPR's community spirit as the 'Beast from the East' hit West Dunbartonshire last week.

We have been inundated by messages of thanks from the residents around the Millburn Roads Depot in Alexandria, Burnbrae and Jamestown after five of our Surfacing and Civils teams came into work voluntarily on Friday and used CPR's plant and machinery to help clear the roads. Billy Black continued to help on Saturday and Sunday to clear roads for the elderly and across the local area.

They were offered hot drinks and biscuits as they mucked in with the local community who had come out in force to get the roads cleared and people moving.

The team were glad to help out and have been delighted all the messages we have received, including a mention in the Daily Record and Lennox Herald!
